In The Name Of The Father

In English class today we saw a movie called "In the name of the father."
The movie is about Gerry Conlon from Belfast. He is falsely implicated in the IRA bombing of a pub that kills several people while he is in London. The police convice the jury that Gerry, his friends and some of his family is guilty. They all has to go to prison. Gerry spend 15 years in prison, and during that time his father dies.
I think the movie was great. It was a good movie to see to understand what it was alike for the people under the conflict between the Catholics in Eire (The Republic of Ireland) and the Protestants in Ulster (Northern Ireland) and in England. I also think the movie was a little bitt boring in the beginning and a little in the middle, but the movie was great.
